Established 5 years ago and based in Durban, Scuba Club runs a one-stop dive club, specialising in Scuba Equipment and Dive Training at all levels. The idea of Scuba Club was not just to establish a diving club, but to create a dive community. A community where divers could go for further training, organise to go on exotic dive safaris, or simply get together socially. Meet our team.
Dive Courses
We offer courses from Open Water through to Instructor, as well as more specialised courses such as Rescue, Nitrox, Underwater photography. We also offer all DAN courses. Scuba Club is proud of its team of highly respected, professional scuba instructors.
Our training style emphasises instructor contact rather than video instruction. Instructors take the time to ensure that all students have grasped the concepts and mastered the essential skills, resulting in our students graduating with a high degree of confidence and competence.
Dive Trips
In addition to training, we organise dives and equipment hire for our club members, as well as dive trips inside and outside South Africa. Destinations include: Sodwana Bay, Mozambique, and the Red Sea.
